Britain player Tom Banton is one of the most energizing stars in the T20 circuit yet previous England commander Michael Vaughan has asked the England Cricket Board (ECB) to pull back him from the up and coming IPL season. Vaughan needs the adolescent to play in the County Championship and make a case for England's Test group.
Banton was gobbled up by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the up and coming period of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at his base cost of Rs 1 crore.
"On the off chance that I were in control I would be on the telephone this week to Tom Banton guiding him to surrender his IPL arrangement and play the initial not many long stretches of the district season for Somerset in light of the fact that there is an opening accessible at No 6 in the Test side," Vaughan wrote in a segment for Telegraph Sport.
"I have seen enough of Banton to realize he is a genius really taking shape. I don't know a stretch in the IPL at the present time, when he probably won't get a great deal of game time, is the thing that he needs at this phase of his profession.
