Opener Prithvi Shaw was on Tuesday governed out of India As two up and coming practice games in New Zealand, the BCCI said in an announcement. An approach his cooperation in the one-day and four-day coordinates in New Zealand will be taken at a later stage, the announcement said.
"Group India batsman Prithvi Shaw experienced rotator sleeve and labrum damage to one side shoulder while handling on Day 1 (January 3) of the Paytm Ranji Trophy coordinate among Mumbai and Karnataka. Prithvi is as of now under recovery at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru," the announcement read.
In the wake of harming his left shoulder while handling during Mumbai's Ranji Trophy game, Shaw was sent to the NCA for an appraisal of the damage.
The youthful Mumbai batsman, who got harmed trying to stop an oust on Friday, neither handled nor came in to bat during the continuous Ranji attach and later traveled to Bengaluru.
Shaw was named in the two India A squads for the visit and the group is set to leave on January 10.
